Claire Catherine Danes (née le 12 avril 1979) est une actrice américaine de télévision, de scène et de cinéma. Elle a joué dans des rôles aussi divers qu'Angela Chase dans My So-Called Life, Juliette dans Roméo + Juliette de Baz Luhrmann, Yvaine dans Stardust et Temple Grandin dans le téléfilm Temple Grandin de HBO. De 2011 à 2020, elle incarne Carrie Mathison, l'héroïne de la série d'espionnage Homeland.
